Sankatsu Yukata Museum

The Sankatsu Yukata Museum is located on the first floor of our head office, close to Ningyōchō Station.
It exhibits the unparalleled works of Living National Treasure Kōtarō Shimizu, kimono bolts categorized by era (Meiji, Taishō, Shōwa), over 10,000 Ise Katagami stencils used in the past, dyeing tools, and magazines/posters from the Taishō era, as well as undyed bolts and new products.
Sankatsu has dyed colors and patterns that reflect the times.
The materials that escaped wartime destruction represent the history of Sankatsu and the history of the yukata industry itself.
It is a highly-regarded space where visitors can still feel the spirit of Japanese artisans across the long span of time.
